Many of us are turning to payday lenders to take out short term loans so we can cope until payday. However, are all payday lenders the same? At a glance, you might be tempted to think so.
That's not true though, not all payday lenders are created equal and in this article we hope to illuminate some differences.
1. Payday UK
This payday lender is number one! They keep charges simple and like some other payday lenders, they charge you £25 for every £100 you borrow. They are also backed by MEM Consumer Finance Ltd, an excellent, respected, and long established finance company. If you only borrow £80 from them, they'll only ask for £100 back when you get paid. That's the best deal ever in our opinion!
2. Payday Financial
Like most other payday lenders, payday financial will let you borrow up to £750. Their infrastructure is also supported by MEM finance so they're a similar payday lender to Payday UK.
3. Same Day Money
This is an interesting payday lender because they're sponsoring Aston Martin in the British GT3 series and they run high profile competitions. They also provide a mortgage brokerage service to find good mortgage deals and offer £80 to £750 Same Day Payday Loans with no credit check.
4. Payday Express
Payday express has been offering payday advance services for over 8 years, and once you've borrowed from them and paid them back, you can borrow from them again easily through their website. This company also offers loans up to £800.
5. Cash Rush Online
This payday lender isn't a payday lender at all. Instead, they find you a lender and work like a broker. Cash rush online say that they can help you even if you were refused elsewhere.
6. CUS4PayDay Loans
This company is backed by a company called The Slice Ltd. that is a middleman and they pass your details on to a payday lender. Their main difference is that they will let people borrow up to £1,000.
7. Early Payday
Loan amounts for this payday lender go up to £800. The website has some quirky images such as a man stood on a pile of money with a light bulb for a head and a 'cash' sack in each hand. What that says about the company we don't know.
8. Payday Cash Today
This is practically the same as Payday UK as it is backed by MEM finance and offers the same great deals!
9. My Pay Day
Again, this payday lender is an offshoot of MEM finance. It doesn't deserve to be at number 9 because it's excellent but it is a bit of a monopoly and you've heard the spiel before.
10. QuidTilPayday
No information is given about the company and when you try to navigate away from the page you get an irritating fake 'system message' telling you they want to lend you several hundred pounds. That's not a good way to do business guys!
